Sedona Meals on Wheels 

Sedona Mountain High Flowers has been a mainstay of the Sedona community for many years.
As a small local business we are committed to giving back to the community that has helped make us so successful.

Our nonprofit partner is Sedona Community Center’s Meals on Wheels program.
In addition to securing donations for Meals on Wheels with our floral sculptures and events,
we are proud supports of the So No Senior Goes Hungry campaign and sponsors of the
Single Stem, Birthday Blossoms and Holiday Blooms Programs.

So No Senior Goes Hungry Campaign

Sedona Mountain High Flowers is supporting Meals on Wheels So No Senior Goes Hungry campaign
by generating awareness about the program especially among those who may need it the most.
When we discovered one out of six people in the community may not be receiving nutritious meals regularly
and that Meals on Wheels has the capacity to serve more, we decided to take action and be
a part of the conversation by creating a yearlong plan of events and campaigns sponsored
by Sedona Mountain High Flowers to support the program. 

Single Stem Program
At Sedona Mountain High Flowers we believe everyone deserves to experience beautiful flowers.
It is proven flowers create positive emotions and help lift people’s moods. For Meals on Wheels, single stems
are delivered at the beginning of each week to the program’s recipients, who are home bound.
The program has provided over 5,600 single stem flowers to many who are unable to leave their
home due to their life circumstances.

Currently the flowers provided are delivered on only one of the six Meals on Wheels routes and
our hope is to increase the donation to deliver flowers to all six routes on a weekly basis.

Birthday Blossoms

For many people in the Meals on Wheels program, they are alone and may not have
relatives or friends to celebrate their birthday with.

To let them know they are special and not alone we provide Meals on Wheels with floral arrangements
to give to them on their birthday.

Holiday Blooms

At Sedona Mountain High Flowers we love the holidays and we want everyone to feel that love
during this special time of the year. We are honored to deliver holiday themed floral arrangements
to Meals on Wheels clients during the months of October, November and December. We also provide
Holiday Bloom arrangements for Valentine’s Day.
