Adam Ecuyer

Before making the move to Sedona in 2000 Adam had already established himself as a plant expert and floral designer.
Adam began with Horticulture Studies in Long Island before moving to Georgia where he received a BS in Agriculture and
then moved back to New York to work with an interior plant company. He worked with many large clients including Bloomingdales
honing his experience and expertise with indoor plants.

From there he began working with Joan Smith Flowers where he received most of his training in floral design which served him
well at his next position at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. St. John is the largest cathedral in the world and it is one of the
five largest church buildings in the world. Needless to say the liturgical pieces Adam created were very large to complement such a space.

Making the move from New York to Arizona was an easy decision, as the spirituality of Sedona beckoned to him.  During his first year
in Sedona Adam became a Buddhist monk and today he continues to serve as a groundskeeper for the stupa.

His passion extends beyond floral design and Adam gives back to our community through his passion for animals.
He helped place dogs that lost their homes in Katrina as well as helped with an iguana and tortoise rescue.

With over 30 years experience in the floral industry combined with his keen eye for exquisite style Adam designs for all our events
including collaborating on weddings. We are honored to have him as part of the Sedona Mountain High Flowers team.
